'Aggressive' Harley Street clinic is closed

A Harley Street clinic allegedly offering a "cure" for impotence has closed down after a trading standards sting.

More than 100 complaints were received by Westminster City Council in London after clients said they had been mis-sold treatment for male erectile dysfunction.

Victims claimed they had been subject to an "extremely aggressive sales pitch", while others said they had been misled over the 3,000 treatment cost and the promised "money-back guarantee" was refused.

Following last September's sting, the company named as AMI Clinic Ltd, went into liquidation in April and those operating it moved to Australia.
