Ancient Egypt brought to city
Emily Taylor, museum assistant for the department for Ancient Egypt and Sudan at the British Museum with a granodiorite stone statue of royal architect Senenmut holding the princess Neferure which is part a major new exhibition devoted to the pharaohs and ancient Egypt at the Leeds Museum. The exhibition at Leeds City Museum, in Millennium Square, Leeds, will feature over 130 objects from the British Museum. It opens to the public next Saturday and runs until June 17.
