Anonymous winner claims lottery jackpot

A UK lottery winner who claimed a £22.1m EuroMillions jackpot has decided to remain anonymous, Camelot said.

The prize from the March 2 draw has been paid out but no further details, including the location where the winning ticket was purchased, will be revealed.

Camelot, operator of the National Lottery, said the ticket-holder won £22,198,232.50 and enters the National Lottery Rich List in 16th place.

Top of the list are Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs, Ayrshire, who banked a £161m EuroMillions jackpot last July.

The latest win came a week after another UK ticket-holder won £46.4m in the February 24 EuroMillions and it is the fourth UK jackpot win in the draw this year.
