Appeal to driver after car hit and seriously injured boy, seven
POLICE are appealing for the driver of a car which struck and seriously injured a seven-year-old boy in Wakefield yesterday to come forward.
The boy suffered a serious but non-life-threatening leg injury when he was hit by a dark coloured car on Walnut Avenue between 5.30pm and 6pm on Wednesday May 20.
PC Dan Baldwin said: “The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and helped but then left the scene before providing any details.

Hide Ad“The driver is described as being a white female in her 40s with shoulder length blonde hair.
“Could the driver of the vehicle, or anyone who witnessed this collision, please contact me on 101 quoting the reference 281.”
