Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Tyersal, Bradford, on the morning of Sunday December 4.
At around 11am, a 46-year-old man driving a red Rover 216 along Dick Lane was overtaken and blocked by a dark coloured vehicle.
The driver left his vehicle, approached the Rover and, after an argument, struck the man in the face, knocking him to the ground.
The victim was left with a fractured cheekbone.
The suspect, who drove away at speed towards the Thornbury roundabout, is described as Asian, 5’9” tall, with a moustache and short beard.
He was wearing a long black overcoat, black wollen hat and jeans.
PC Richard Simpson of the Bradford South Volume Crime Unit said: “Since this incident we have made numerous enquiries and we are now calling on the public for further information.
“I am particularly interested in speaking to anyone who has seen the registration of this vehicle and can help us to trace it.”
