Appeal: Man wanted after attempted robbery in Doncaster

A 22-year-old man was walking along Thorne Road at around 5.45am on Christmas Eve when he was approached by two men near to the junction with Town Moor Avenue.

One of the men allegedly pulled out a knife as the pair threatened him and demanded his belongings.

The men then ran away as cars started to drive past.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said the 22-year-old was not injured during the incident.

The man pictured in the e-fit image was described as white, slim and wearing a blue and white hooded jacket.

The second man was white, slim and wearing an orange and white hooded top.
