Appeal to trace high value jewellery stolen in burglary

Police are appealing for help tracing high value jewellery stolen from a South Yorkshire home.

Two gold rings and six gold bangles were taken from the house in Godric Drive in Brinsworth, Rotherham, at sometime between 7pm and 9.15pm on Thursday March 17.

A car was also stolen in the burglary but has since been recovered.

PC Tom Jordan said: “The jewellery is of highly sentimental value to the owner and I would ask people to keep an eye out for anyone who may be selling these distinctive items. Two gold rings and six gold bangles were taken from the property.

“If you have any information about this incident, please call us on 101 quoting incident number 1167 of 17 March 2016.”
