Appeals to find man
missing from hospital
with brain infection

RELATIVES of missing North Yorkshire man Graham Roskell have issued an emotional appeal for the public to help bring him home safe and well.

Mr Roskell has not been seen since leaving Harrogate District Hospital on Saturday morning.

The 65-year-old, from the village of Kirk Hammerton, near Harrogate, was receiving treatment for a brain infection that can cause confusion and anxiety.

In a statement yesterday, Mr Roskell’s family said: “He is a loving husband, dad and granddad, who is the centre of our universe. We need him back now. We are urging people to check their outbuildings, garages, sheds, cars, anywhere he may have taken shelter.

“We also need help to hand out flyers and posters or just ask around and spread the word. Due to his condition he may have gone further afield than the Harrogate, or even Yorkshire area, and got himself lost.

“We want this to be a happy news story, where the communities pull together to find our dad. The police are doing everything they can but we need the public’s help too.”

Mr Roskell is 5ft 11in tall and of medium build, with greyish white hair.

Anyone who has information that could help find Mr Roskell is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police via their 101 phone number.
