Police, including armed officers, were at Huddersfield railway station from around 8pm last night as part of enquiries into alleged drug dealing offences.

A man went onto the tracks and into a tunnel, prompting the closure of the tunnel and delays to trains.

A search was carried out before the tunnel was reopened and services resumed.

West Yorkshire police thanked people caught up in the disruption for their patience.
