Arrests after man found unconscious in Sheffield

A 30-year-old man is critically ill in hospital after he was found unconscious outside house in Sheffield.

Police suspect the man had been beaten and a teenage boy and two men have been arrested.

The injured man was found this morning outside a house in Lupton Walk, Low Edges at around 9.45am.

A police cordon has been set up but motorists can continue to access the area as normal.

South Yorkshire Police said a 17-year-old boy and men aged 18 and 27 had been arrested on suspicion of assault.

Any witnesses to the incident have been urged to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 336 of today.
