Astrocampus offers chance to discover mysteries of space

The mysteries of space are to be brought closer to home for thousands of people across the region.

The University of York’s Astrocampus, created by the Department of Physics, will provide a venue for schoolchildren and space enthusiasts to study and enjoy the universe.

The university has appointed an outreach officer and is able to offer a programme of school activities and public observing evenings, starting with a celebration of National Astronomy Week from March 3 to 6.
