Attack leaves manseriously injured
The victim of an attack on one of York's busiest streets for pubs and bars was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries.
The 27-year-old man from York was injured in the attack on Micklegate in the city centre near Trinity Church at about 10pm on Saturday. His assailant is white, aged in his late 20s, about 5ft 10in and stocky with a round face. He was wearing jeans and a white T-shirt at the time of the attack.
