Autumnal pleasures

According to forecasters, today’s the day to get out and enjoy the sunshine, although people could wake up to ground frost and on the East Coast showers could continue.

The rest of half-term heralds a return to typical autumnal weather.

Met Office forecaster George Goodfellow said: “It looks like rain is going to be coming in on Tuesday. It could be cloudy with rain for a decent part of the day and fairly strong winds too, but after that it’s back to typical autumnal weather, but warmer than it has been.”
