Baildon landslip cleared - but trains are delayed again
A LANDSLIP near Bradford that halted trains on Wednesday was cleared overnight - but trains were delayed again on Thursday morning.
Services between Bradford Forster Square and Ilkley were suspended on Tuesday evening following localised flash flooding in Baildon, and the line remained closed throughout Wednesday.
This morning, the blockage had been cleared, but Northern Rail said an “operational incident” was delaying services by up to 30 minutes during the morning rush hour.
