An armed robber fled with a cash box after threatening a security guard who was delivering money to a supermarket.

The guard and her colleague were restocking the cash machine at the Sainsbury’s Local store in Pudsey, Leeds at 11.35am on Saturday when the armed man ran out of an alleyway and snatched the cash box. He and two accomplices fled in a grey Renault Scenic which was later found on fire in Burley.
