Bare chested man hurled racist abuse in Rotherham street

Officers are investigating claims a 22-year-old man was verbally abused as he crossed Doncaster Road, Eastwood, at 7.55pm on Thursday, May 25.

The suspect was around 25-years-old, 5ft 9ins tall, of a medium build and had short, brown hair.

He was wearing grey shorts and was bare chested.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "While we appreciate this incident happened a while ago, officers investigating are asking people who were in the area at that time whether they remember seeing anyone acting in that manner or matching that description."
