Barn fires may bework of arsonist

Fears are growing a serial arsonist may be targeting barns and haystacks in Yorkshire after a barn fire involving 600 bales and farm machinery broke out at High Normanton, Fylingthorpe, Robin Hood's Bay, early yesterday.

Police are checking for possible links with blazes on September 2 at Byram, near Knottingley, Sutton-on-the-Forest, near York, and Grimston Bar in York.
