Beano bonanza for charity shop
Volunteer Matthew Harris found a rare copy of the first-ever Beano annual, dating back to 1939, when it was handed in at a Cancer Research UK shop in St Andrews as a donation.
The annual, featuring many favourite characters from the children's comic, could now fetch up to 2,000 when it is sold at auction.
