Blair memoir outin september

The former Prime Minister said it will describe “the human as much as the political dimensions” of his years leading the country.

Gail Rebuck, chief executive of publishing group Random House, said the book “will break new ground in prime ministerial memoirs”.

Mr Blair will voice the audio version of the book, which will be published in print and “eBook” versions.

Mr Blair said: “Though necessarily retrospective, it is an attempt to inform and shape current and future thinking as much as an historical account of the past.“
