Bloody Sunday report could be out in fortnight

The Saville Report into the Bloody Sunday killings could be published within a fortnight.

The Prime Minister gave the assurance during Northern Ireland talks with Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and First Minister Peter Robinson.

Lord Saville headed a 200m probe into the shooting of 14 civil rights protesters by soldiers in Londonderry.

Mr McGuinness said he took the Prime Minister at his word that publication would happen within the next couple of weeks.

"That would be an enormous assistance to everybody who wishes to see the outcome of those deliberations which went on for many years," he added.
