Body found in hunt for missing man
Police searching for a man who went missing last weekend have found a body.
Ian Simpkin, 36, vanished from his home in Wath, near Ripon, at 10am on Sunday.
Officers found the body of a man in an isolated wooded area, about two miles from Wath, yesterday afternoon.
The body has not yet been formally identified, but police believe it to be Mr Simpkin.
The death is not though to be suspicious.
