Bogus callers claim more elderly victims
Police hunting bogus callers who have tricked their way into the homes of elderly people in Leeds are investigating four further incidents.
Last week, officers warned people to be on their guard following five incidents – four on August 13 and one on July 30 – where callers targeted the homes of victims aged between 79 and 87. Anyone with information can contact Pc 5318 Lee Swift on 0845 6060606.
