Bomb hoax calls made to school

A Yorkshire school has received four bomb threats in the past week.

In the latest false threat an anonymous call was made from a public phone box on Wednesday morning, reporting that there was a bomb in the secondary school in Bradford.

It is believed that someone who is trying to disrupt exams which are taking place at the school could be behind the threats.

Inspector Jonathan Pickles, of Bradford District Safer Schools Partnership, said: “Anyone who knowingly makes a false report will be prosecuted.”
