Boost in store for Jane Tomlinson runs

ORGANISERS of the 10K runs held as part of fundraiser Jane Tomlinson’s charitable legacy are celebrating a major boost.

The Asda Foundation, established by the retail giant to support good causes, has announced it is to continue to support the Jane Tomlinson Run For All 10K series for a further four years.

The series covers road races in Leeds, York, Hull and Burnley and attracts thousands of runners and spectators and has raised millions for charity. The Leeds 10K alone has raised more than £2m since Mrs Tomlinson launched it in 2007.
