Boy, 16, seriously injured in collision in Leeds

A 16-year-old boy has suffered 'serious' injuries in a collision with a car in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police has released details of the incident which happened yesterday (Thursday) on Millshaw Road, Beeston Park, Beeston to encourage any witnesses to contact the force.

It occurred at about 6.15pm when the boy, a pedestrian, collided with a blue Volkswagen Scirocco that was being driven in the direction of Tingley, south of the ring road.

The vehicle stopped at the scene and the boy was taken to hospital.

Anyone who saw what happened or who witnessed the movements of the vehicle or the pedestrian prior to the incident, is asked to call the force’s Eastern Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support Team via 101.
