Boy Scout aged 16 raped dog walker

A 16-year-old Scout dragged a teenage girl to a secluded wooded area, struck her in the face and squeezed her by the throat before raping her, a court heard yesterday. Owen Tappin had been drinking at a party in a church hall before attacking the girl, who was a stranger to him, as she walked her dogs.
