Bradford blaze tackled by five fire crews

Five fire crews have tackled a blaze that broke out in Bradford tonight.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service officers were called to the incident in Piccadilly just before 5.55pm.

Crews found that part of the second floor of the five-storey building was on fire, prompting the use of ventilation fans, two hose reels and two breathing apparatus.

Two crews from Bradford helped to extinguish the fire along with crews from Odsal, Fairweather Green and Shipley.
