Brewer banned fordriving over limit

A brewer who tested his own beer has been banned for 18 months for being over the limit.

Richard Bowerman, 43, of Stump Cross Cottage, Greenhow Hill, near Pateley Bridge, said he only tasted small measures at Richmond Brewing Company but breath tests showed alcohol at 67 micrograms, with the legal limit 35. Bowerman admitted drink driving and was also fined 250.
