British journalist freed in Pakistan
A British journalist held captive by militants in north-western Pakistan since March has been released, officials said yesterday.
The British High Commission in Islamabad said Asad Qureshi was now free but gave no more details.
Qureshi was making a film on militancy for Channel 4 when he was seized. News organisations did not report his abduction at the request of the broadcaster.
