Britons flown out as Tunisia plunges into ferment
Anti-government riots in Tunisia which have killed at least 13 people have forced the return home of about 2,000 Britons.
President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali has resigned and is believed to have fled the country and prime minister Mohammed Ghannouchi has gone on state TV to say he is assuming power. Violent clashes erupted on the streets as thousands took part in protests over corruption and unemployment. The Foreign Office is advising against travel to the North African country.
