Burglary alert over stolen cars
POLICE are warning residents to keep their homes secure after four cars were stolen by thieves who were able to steal car keys through unlocked doors.
Three vehicles were taken from a property in Elloughton, Brough, while a black Ford Focus was stolen from The Willows in Hessle.
Supt Darren Downs, of Humberside Police, said: “The incidents outlined saw two houses targeted and tens of thousands of pounds worth of cars stolen. These crimes may not have even been committed had the doors been locked.”
