Bus tour promotes mental health

The Love Your Mind campaign will see Mind’s double-deck bus tour England for six days to champion local mental health services.

The campaign, which has also received support form Leeds United Football Club, comes in response to new research from the charity revealing that thirty per cent of patients believe that their GP is unaware of local services to support their mental health recovery .

The bus was parked outside Debenhams in Briggate, Leeds, allowing local people to record their experiences in a video booth.

Local service groups hosted demonstrations of their work.

The bus is visiting six cities in six days.
