Businessman facesgun-murder charge
A businessman was charged with shooting dead a man in his mansion, police said.
The 39-year-old is accused of murdering Stephen Akinyemi in his 2m home on Brook Lane, Alderley Edge, Cheshire. Mr Akinyemi, 44, from Cheetham Hill, Manchester, was discovered by police in the bathroom of Coghlan’s mansion on Tuesday. A post mortem showed death was due to being shot in the head, but he had also been stabbed in the upper body.
