Call for witnesses to come forward after pedestrian hurt in Sheffield collision
Police are urging witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian in Sheffield to come forward.
The crash on Tuesday happened when a white C220 Mercedes car was involved in a collision with a man stood next to a white Ford transit van on Shortridge Street at around 8.10pm.
Police said the victim, who was the driver of the transit van, suffered serious injures after the crash which took place at the junction with Chippingham Place.
He was taken to Northern General Hospital for treatment.
Anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or saw the white Mercedes C220 in the area prior to the collision, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 1106 of March 14.
