Daytime events will be held the following day at the Beak Children’s Children’s Centre in Kirk Sandall, between 10am and midday, and at The Croft Children’s Centre in Dunscroft between 1pm and 3pm.

Coun Eric Tatton Kelly, Doncaster Council’s cabinet member for children, said: “We are constantly looking for people to come forward to foster children who need loving and stable homes.

“These events are a good opportunity to take the first steps to fostering.

“If you are considering becoming a foster carer please come along and talk to our friendly team, who will happily discuss the application process.”

Foster carers should be over 21, and can receive allowances of up to £432 per week per child.
