Cancer gala day raises thousands
The Yorkshire Cancer Appeal Gala on Saturday drew thousands of people to Roundhay Park, as the Yorkshire Cancer Centre hosted its second annual family fundraising Gala Day.
Families enjoyed a spectacular display from national parachute freefall team the Red Devils, as well as live music, a children's funfair, barbeque and fully staffed beer tent.

The free gala helps raise funds towards the Yorkshire Cancer Centre 10m appeal, so it can continue its lifesaving work at the centre's base at St James's Hospital in Leeds.
