A new branch of the ultra-trendy London ‘burger, beer and cocktail’ restaurant that has taken the capital by storm is to open in Leeds city centre this Autumn.
MEATliquor’s new outlet at the Trinity Centre is its first in the North and will bolster the city’s growing reputation as a dining destination. Bosses say MEATliquor Leeds, which will have a seating capacity of 125 and two bars across two floors when it opens on Bank Street, will “tap into the local market for the restaurant and menu design”.
It is the latest burger chain to arrive in the city centre, after the opening of Twisted Burger Company at the Aire Bar and with plans announced for a branch of Byron Hamburgers this summer.
A spokeswoman said the opening of the branch, which will have 100 dishes on rotation, came after the success of a “pop-up” restaurant in Leeds last year.
