Car flips over and lands in garden
Police at the scene of an accident in Leeds yesterday in which a car clipped another car before flipping onto its roof into a garden.
The Ford Fiesta collided with a VW Polo in Lower Wortley ring road, Leeds, near its junction with Branch Road at about 5.15am yesterday, causing it to flip over, police said.
A 22-year-old man from the Fiesta was in a critical condition in hospital yesterday. The accident caused major delays for motorists as the ring road was closed and diversions put in place while investigations were carried out. The road re-opened yesterday afternoon.
