"We took over the business two years ago, we have six cottages and are just trying to get going," she said.

"It is very complicated, there has been no consultation, and we feel there is no guidance from the government at all.

"I moved from Bradford to work here and it has been great, we love the countryside and it felt like a dream job.

"But now it is just a waiting game.
