CCTV appeal: Police investigating use of 'stolen' bank card in York shop

Police have issued a CCTV appeal as part of the ongoing investigation into the use of a 'stolen' bank card in a shop in York.

North Yorkshire Police today said that transactions were made in an Argos shop in the city at 9.20am on Thursday, November 23 – a day after the card was stolen.

A spokesman said: "Police want to speak to a man pictured by CCTV in connection with the incident.

"If you recognise him or have any information that could help enquiries, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Christopher Bolton.

"You can also contact PC Bolton on [email protected] or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
