POLICE have issued this CCTV image of a man wanted over an early morning armed car-jacking in Leeds.

The victim, a 43-year-old man, was parking his Peugeot 307 car in Lovell Park Hill, Little London, when he was approached by two men.

One asked if he had the number for a taxi and the other then pulled out a knife and ordered the victim out of his car.

They then sped off along Lovell Park Road, taking the man’s wallet and phone.

Both robbers were Asian. One was aged about 22, of medium build and about 5ft 6ins tall, with short black hair. He was wearing a light grey hooded top.

The second was about the same age, stocky, about 5ft 11ins tall, with short black hair. He was wearing a short black jacket and blue jeans.

The incident happened at about 6.20am on Tuesday, November 13 last year. At about 11am the same day the stolen car made off without paying for petrol at a garage in Brierfield, Lancashire, before being found abandoned in Woodland Close, Bradford.

This CCTV image was captured at the garage.
