CCTV snap released after man stole from Sheffield gym lockers

Police have released a CCTV image after a man snatched bank cards and car keys from lockers at Sheffield gyms.

Ua day pass for a gym in Napier Street, a man is said to have stolen a number of items, including bank cards and car keys from lockers at the gym. He has then proceeded to steal a grey Mini Cooper from the car park.

Officers believe the offender then drove to the Tesco superstore in Spital Hill and allegedly used the stolen bank cards to buy items from the store.

After an investigation was launched, officers discovered that the same offender is thought to have obtained another pass for a gym in Spital Hill and again, allegedly taken a number of items from the lockers, including bank cards, to buy items in Tesco.

The offences are said to have been committed in January of this year.

Following extensive enquiries, including work with other police forces, officers have released a CCTV image of a man they believe could hold important information.
