Champ shows some bottle

OLYMPIC boxing hero Nicola Adams is aiming to pack a punch with her role in an advertising campaign that encourages people to drink more milk.

Leeds-born Nicola and fellow London 2012 gold medal winners Laura Trott and Jade Jones have been announced as the new faces of the make mine Milk campaign.

Buses across the country will now be carrying pictures of the trio, each sporting an unmistakable milk ‘moustache’.

Former Burmantofts Gym regular Nicola, from Ebor Gardens, said: “Before every fight, including my gold medal fight in London, I have a bowl of Frosties with low fat milk to get my day off to the best possible start.

“That routine’s been working pretty well for me, so I won’t be changing it any time soon!”
