Champagne at 108
Harvey Nichols hosted a special birthday celebration in Leeds for Hannah Watling, who turns 108 today.
The Espresso Bar at the store invited Mrs Watling and her friend Olive Heath, herself 101, for afternoon tea, complete with a glass of champagne, yesterday.
Mrs Watling, a resident of Burley Willows Home for Older People, off Kirkstall Road, Leeds, marked her birthday in style thanks to the offer made by her care worker's husband, Wayne Stead, the manager of the bar. She was also given perfume.
