Members of Sheffield Council’s cabinet committee will be visiting each of the seven community assembly areas for question and answer sessions.
The sessions will normally be held for an hour ahead of regular community assembly meetings.

Sheffield Council leader Julie Dore said: “We are keen to be more accessible to local people and to listen to their concerns.
“Over the next few months we will be attending meetings across the city and we hope that local people will come along and pose their questions to us.
“We really want to know which issues are important to local people. They may want to talk about issues in their local community or matters that have a wider impact on the city.

The first of these meetings will take place on Wednesday, October 26, at 6pm at Shirecliffe Community Centre, before the north east community assembly meeting.
Meanwhile, Doncaster Council chief executive Rob Vincent will be holding a “debate cafe” for sixth form students at the Mansion House between 3pm and 5pm tomorrow.
The teenagers will be asked their ideas on how Doncaster Council can cut around £70m from its budget over the next four years.
Mr Vincent said: “I’m really looking forward to taking questions and hearing ideas from young people.
“We want them to get involved and tell us their ideas for how we could save this money.”
