Changes to bus and tram services changes

DISRUPTIONS are expected to public transport across South Yorkshire on the day of the Royal wedding and over the coming Bank Holiday weekend.

On Friday, April 29 and Monday, May 2 most buses will operate a Sunday service, although trains will run as normal.

Sheffield’s tram network will operate a Saturday service on both days, but blue and purple routes will be disrupted by works to replace rails at Spring Lane on Sunday, May 1 and Monday, May 2.

“On the purple route, services will run as normal between Meadowhall and the Cathedral, but a replacement bus service will operate between Fitzalan Square and Herdings Park, serving all tram stops.
