Charity calendar's naked ambition

More than 40 members of Fitfun, aged between 18 and 81, took part in the photoshoot and the calendar is expected to be published for the start of their pink aerobics fundraising effort on October 24, during breast cancer awareness month .

The group has raised more than 8,300 during the last two years and is publishing the calendar to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign.

Spokeswoman Cheryl Murphy said: "Our perceived bravery pales into insignificance compared with that of our two ladies with personal experience of the disease who have agreed to be photographed. One lady has lost her hair after her last chemotherapy treatment and the other has had a radical mastectomy."
