Charity’s reward to catch cat attackers
Earlier this month, the Yorkshire Post told how the cat, Charlie, had lost its eye after the attack, and yesterday campaigners said “animal abusers” often went on to attack humans.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) said the attack in Swinton, Rotherham, on November 4 was worrying because animals are the “perfect practice victims for violent people”.

Hide AdSpokesman Ben Williamson said: “Animal abusers are a danger to everyone, they take their issues out on whoever is available to them, human or non-human.”
“It is imperative that the community take action to find the culprit or culprits and stop them.”
