Child who survived rape killed by train
A South African girl who survived being raped, beaten unconscious with a brick and thrown into a fire was killed when a train hit a school bus.
Liesel Augis was only six when she was attacked in 2006. She survived and became known across South Africa as “Little Rock” for her resilience.
On Wednesday a bus driver dodged a crossing gate and drove into the path of a train killing 10 children.
