Children meet favourite characters

YOUNGSTERS enjoyed the sunshine and got the chance to meet some of their favourite characters at Harewood House, near Leeds, yesterday.

The festival was for toddlers, young children and teenagers, offering a mix of music, dance, and a range of indoor and outdoor activities.

It featured TV’s Justin Fletcher, aka Mr Tumble from CBeebies, Peppa Pig and George Pig, Humungosaur and Water Hazard from Ben 10 Alien Force, Roary the Racing Car and Big Chris, and Bob the Builder.

For toddlers and young children there was a chance to watch the Kids Glee Club Live Stage Show with a mix of fun dance and music together with other stage shows.

For teenagers, the Team Extreme joined in the festival with BMX and skateboard demonstrations and is a chance to try junk music percussion and graffiti activities.

The festival, which also takes place today from 10am to 5pm, offers a chance for youngsters to see circus skills and enjoy other activities. For more information visit www.harewood.org.
